Doble's Wall Cottage

Dobles Wall Cottage is ideally situated in Back Lane, a pedestrian only area, a few yards from the harbour, shops and beach.

The cottage is approached via 10 granite steps up to the south facing raised patio/balcony area that offers views towards Smeatons Pier and the Arches. This is a delightful area with patio furniture, where you can either eat 'Al Fresco' or just sit with a glass of wine and watch the world go by.

The cottage has an open porch with a half glazed stable front door, which leads into the spacious open plan lounge/kitchen/dining room. Full of character with beamed ceiling, oak flooring and exposed granite walls.

Lounge area, light and airy with dual aspect windows, comfortably furnished with quality contemporary style fabric 3 and 2 seater sofas, leather armchair and 2 window seats where you can sit and relax.

There is also a solid wood/marble inlay coffee and side table and a feature fireplace with electric stove.

A home entertainment system consisting of a widescreen LCD TV with Freeview, Video, CD/DVD and a micro Hi-Fi with DAB Radio/CD/MP3 player. You will also find a selection of DVDs/CDs/books and games to keep you entertained.

Kitchen/Dining area, fitted Shaker style kitchen, modern and well equipped with quality appliances, including gas oven and hob, microwave and intergrated extractor. Built in fridge with freezer compartment and washing machine/dryer. There is also a genorously sized kitchen island unit with wooden stools, ideal for eating your breakfast at.

If you prefer to dine in, rather than eat out in one of the many fine restaurants that St Ives has to offer, the dining area has a solid wood/marble inlay dining table with seating for 6.

Feature carpeted staircase leads to the upper floor landing :-

Master Bedroom with 4ft 6 Double pine bed and wall-mounted dimming bedside lamp above it, large chest of drawers, bedside cupboard and built in wardrobe with hanging space. Large south facing window make this a bright and airy room.

Bedroom 2, with a 4ft 6 Double pine bed and bedside lamp, large chest of drawers and wardrobe with hanging space. Deep floor to ceiling recess with window, overlooking the Sloop car park.

Bedroom 3, with 3ft Thuka bunk beds with under-bed storage drawers. Large chest of drawers with bedside lamp and wardrobe with hanging space.

The bunk beds are fitted with play curtains (complete with port holes), which makes it a perfect hideout and playroom for children.

There is a wall-mounted dimming bedside lamp above the bunks also. Large south facing window make this a bright and airy room.

Bathroom, luxury fitted contemporary style bathroom with shower bath, washbasin and mirrors, shaver point, wc and wall mounted heated towel rail.

All beds are ready made for your arrival, with fresh professionally laundered quality bed linen.
Towels (including tea towels) also provided.
