We recommend that you stop and drop off your luggage either, on the Wharf or in the Sloop car park (which is behind Doble's), before going to one of the many long-stay car parks.

St Ives has a number of car parks but unfortunately parking spaces are at a premium so easiest access tends to be early and late in the day, otherwise most are full throughout the day.

Our advice is to get the car into there as soon as possible after arrival, buy a weekly ticket for about £30, and leave it there. The ticket is then valid in all Penwith District Council long-stay car parks if you take the car for visits to other parts of Cornwall.

The nearest car parks that offer long-stay are The Island car park and Barnoon which is behind the Tate Gallery. Both are just a few minutes walk from the apartment.

Then a bit further afield there's the Station Car park situated overlooking Porthminster Beach, the car park up the hill on Park Avenue and the Leisure centre, which is the largest of the car parks. Many of the others only offer short stay.

Please note that  the car park behind the Sloop Inn is only short stay also.
